HG Interact

HG Interact is the web service for Specifications and Quality Management from Hamilton Grant

It is a hosted system that can be used to process and control specifications and other documents from your suppliers/vendors and for your customers.

It uses standard browser techniques that are familiar the world over, breaking through geographic barriers, language differences, and time zones.

Each company is allocated it's own secure part of the site, with access via encrypted passwords. Home pages can give general information to suppliers/vendors and customers to ensure they are up to date with relevant information.

Document templates are then used to enable data to be entered by suppliers/vendors.

These templates can be forms for raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications. They can also be forms for technical audits, quality questionnaires, health and safety data sheets, non-conformances, and complaints. In fact, there is no limit to the number of different types of form it can be used for.

Raw material and ingredient suppliers can enter data and then submit to the manufacturers.

Status and workflow control enable specifications and plans to come together, encouraging a high level of collaboration between suppliers and customers throughout the supply chain.

The system is compatible with data exchange using XML and other industry standard interfaces.

It is also compatible with Recipe Management, Quality Management, and Form Designer software from Hamilton Grant.

The Form Designer software enables customers to create their own document templates in a very user-friendly way. There is therefore no specialist programing knowledge required to continually extend the use and applicability of the system.
